Meet the Team

Stephanie Herrera, Practice Manager

Stephanie, our loyal long-time team member, is our patient care manager. She enjoys meeting new patients and building lasting relationships with them. Stephanie also has a knack for remembering a patient by just the smallest details. She works diligently to help our patients understand their recommended treatments and insurance benefits. Patient care is her priority, and she always ensures our patients feel comfortable while in the office. Stephanie, born and raised in Houston, has two dogs, a Frenchie named Chicken Wing and an American bully named Oreo. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, working out, bike riding, reading books, and getting dressed up and trying new restaurants.

Yessica, Patient Care Coordinator/RDA

When you walk into the office, the first smile you will see is from Yessica, our patient care coordinator. Yessica not only focuses on scheduling and insurance verification, but she also balances her time in the clinical area as a registered dental assistant. She has been fascinated by dentistry from a young age and remembers going to the orthodontist with her brothers. Seeing the way a patient’s smile and life could be transformed really influenced her decision to work in dentistry. During her free time, Yessica enjoys spending time with her family, especially her youngest sibling. She is the oldest sibling and only daughter. She also loves going to the gym and taking care of her two German Shepherd pups.

Abbiel Zaragoza, Lead RDA

Abbiel is our lead registered dental assistant, and you will mostly see him in the clinical area working alongside Dr. Palmer during treatment. Our patients always appreciate Abbiel’s chairside manner, as he has the ability to make our patients feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible. From a young age, Abbiel was captivated by the intricacies of dentistry, which led him to pursue his career in the field. In fact, Abbiel trained as a dentist in Mexico. His extensive knowledge and experience in dentistry have been an asset to the team. Beyond the dental office, he finds solace in the serenity of nature. He also enjoys spending time with his dog, Archer.

Victoria, RDH

Victoria was born and raised in Nederland, TX and moved to Houston to receive her college education at the University of St. Thomas. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with the intention of pursuing a profession in dentistry. After college, she worked full-time as a dental assistant at a pediatric office and fell in love with patient interactions and saw how much the hygienist’s role played a major part in patient prevention of oral diseases and overall health. She decided to pursue her passion for dental hygiene and graduated from HCC Coleman College of Health Sciences in 2019. Victoria has treated countless patients in the past five years, and she has always strived to make meaningful interactions with each patient and provide them with the absolute best care in order to help them achieve a healthier mouth. Victoria takes absolute pride in what she does, and she is grateful to work at Palmer Dental Group of Houston where they have the newest equipment and technology that helps her best serve her patients and treat periodontal disease. Victoria has a beagle named Bonny and enjoys walking her around the Memorial Heights area. She practices yoga, and in her free time, she likes to read and loves to explore all the new Houston restaurants.

Cristi is known for her genuine care she provides every patient. She strives to make each visit as comfortable and positive as possible while delivering outstanding clinical care. Outside the office, Cristi enjoys discovering new recipes and cooking for her family and even indulging in a sweet treat. She loves spending time with her husband, Scott, her daughter, Stormy, her stepdaughter, Lizzy, as well as her sisters and many nieces and nephews. In her free time, you’ll often find her watching documentaries or a good mystery, or relaxing at home with her two cats, Ozzy and Marshmello.

Dr. Nhi Huynh, Associate Dentist

Nhi Huynh immigrated from Vietnam to Texas as a child. Her favorite school subject was science and her favorite past-time was building LEGOs with her younger brother. She spent a majority of her childhood in nail salons painting her own nails and talking to her parents’ clients. She saw the artistry her parents were able to create and knew she had to pursue a field in the arts and sciences. After completing her Bachelor of Science and Arts in Biochemistry at the University of Texas at Austin and learning how similar the components of acrylic nails were to dentistry, she completed her dental doctorate at the UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry.

Dr. Huynh has been involved in community outreach programs to provide dental care and oral health education for seniors, veterans, children, women’s shelters, and lesser served areas. She strives to provide high quality dental care through an empathetic and patient-centered approach. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Greater Houston Dental Society. Her hobbies include reading, watching movies, playing tennis, and eating as much sushi as she can.
